This small family run campsite is situated on “Vallespir” (above Arles sur Tech in the foothills of the
French Pyrénées) at an altitude of 650m (app.2,125ft) above sealevel. Created in 1973 it was the first officially
approved naturist campsite in the “Pyrénées Orientales” (region of Southern France). It remained in
the hands of its creators until 2002 when Yannique & Yves Martinez took over from Yves’ parents and now it is they who
offer their services and welcome you to the real pleasures of a Naturist family holiday.
Children are the rulers here:
they can come and go at will in a space where everyone respects the peace and quiet of their surroundings. The swimming pool is their
rallying point but the entire complex is their playground, with due respect for the well being of the others around them.
For the actively sportive (courageous?) amongst you there is a “parcours santé” (a sports training trail) which can
be followed through the woods, punctuated by obstacles of varying difficulty.
Overlooking the valley of the river
“Tech” this Naturist campsite, in a conservation area, offers 54 sites/places comprising; 13 bungalows distributed throughout
the mixed shade and sun of this wooded hillside of 3.5 Ha. (350,000m² app.419,000yd²).
Around the
campsite are 42 Ha. of forest where you are free to wander in Naturist freedom.
From the campsite you can follow
numerous walks and rambles to the middle and high mountains, there is a resident fully qualified guide to accompany you or help you with
the the details of a private outing.
The Mediterranean sea is just 50kms.(app.31miles) away, Spain 15kms. (less than
ten miles!).
The access to the campsite is a good tarmaced road all the way, (just 5kms from the St Laurent de Cerdans road).
N.B. : The English language version of this site is still under construction, all the links take you to French equivalents for the moment.
